Book Review : RAPTORS REBOOTED – Your Unofficial Guide to the 2009-10 Toronto Raptors Season
Just published and available at LuLu.com (52 pages, b&w)
Preview at Raptors 2009 Preseason Guide.
Raptors Rebooted is a comprehensive but different look at the 9 new players the Raptors acquired since the end of the season; the 3 new faces the Raptors acquired towards the end of last season; and, the 3 returning “veterans” who each have big stories of their own coming into this year!
The book begins with an introduction to the 9 new faces followed a by detailed piece about each of the 15 Raptors players.
Then we get a look at a projected rotation to start the season and what this new team could produce based on this rotation.
But one shouldn’t forget the coaching staff. Raptors Rebooted provides an in-depth look at the Raptors rebuilt coaching ranks. The new guys, the promotions, and some history on Jay Triano, a Canadian Head Coach in the NBA!
Last, but not least, a farewell to last year’s guys. There were a lot of departures and it’s always as important to know where one’s been as where one is going!
A fun 52-page primer for the up coming season. With all the changes, many of us will need it to have a chance of knowing something about who’s on this year’s team. Be sure to get your copy so you can point out everywhere that the author has got it wrong 3 months into the season!
Not affiliated or endorsed in any way with the Toronto Raptors or the NBA. They have their own media guide to this season. But this one is way more fun to read.
Based on Brothersteve’s Green & Red Raptor Blogs, Raptors Rebooted has been issued in time for the holidays to try and raise some much needed contributions for the less fortunate in our society.
